REDSHIFT CONSULTING

Oberheim OB-X

Capacitors were replaced in the power supply, as was an intermittent -15v regulator. Low power LEDs were added to original voice cards that were missing this feature, and a +15v regulator on a voice card was replaced. We built and installed a 5.62v regulator board in the digital section to correct some questionable engineering, and did a full calibration. Many of the original screws, nuts and washers were missing or badly matched on this instrument -  a great deal of the fasteners were replaced with black anodized stainless hardware.
Imagine the possibilities.
