The non-original 2.7 Litre C.I.S. motor was rebuilt by Galen Bridges, and the fuel injection system was rebuilt to properly fit within the engine bay. Details include:
- New crank and case
- Rebuilt heads & rods
- Cams reground to 911SC specification
- Shuffle pinned main bearings, and boat-tailed and port polished main bearing webs
- Mooned cylinders and increased compression
- Electromotive crank-sensor ignition system added
- Transmission rebuilt, and Centerline performance clutch installed
